Walk the Talk with Gautrain and PRASA
Travel conveniently with Gautrain and PRASA, the official transport partners for the event.
Passengers can take the Gautrain to Park Station, exit the station, and connect to PRASA train transporting participants directly to Ellis Park Stadium, where the race activities begin.
Whether you are participating in the 5km, 8km or 15km route, Gautrain and PRASA offer a reliable and stress-free way to get to the event and back home safely.
How to Get to the Event
- A return Gautrain train trip to and from Park Station
- Parking payment upon exiting the station parking area
Step 1: Travel to Park Station
Take the Gautrain to Park Station.
Step 2: Collect Your Parking Ticket
If parking at a Gautrain station, press the button for a paper parking ticket when entering at the parking boom gate.
Step 3: Receive Your Complimentary Gautrain Card
Promoters at the station will provide participants wearing an official event race number with a Gautrain card.
Step 4: Use Your Gautrain Card
The Gautrain card will provide:
When exiting parking, insert your paper parking ticket and tap the Gautrain card as payment.
Step 5: Connect to PRASA Trains
Exit the Gautrain station and follow signage to the dedicated PRASA train connection transporting participants to Ellis Park Stadium.

Trains from Rhodesfield Station will follow the below normal schedule, Marathon participants will change trains at Marlboro/Sandton Station to connect to Park Station Station
