How to use the Gautrain for the Race
Remember these important steps before travelling to the STRONGER FUN RUN.
Keep Your Parking Ticket
Take a paper parking ticket when entering the Gautrain parking facility.
Bring Your Race Number
Show your STRONGER TOGETHER race number to the Gautrain promoters.
Keep Your Free Gautrain Card safe
Keep the Gautrain card safe and use the same card for your return trip.
Exit the Parking
Insert your parking ticket first, then tap your Gautrain card to exit.
Standard Gautrain schedules, rules and fares apply. The Gautrain card covers the return trip to Sandton and the parking fare.

Join the STRONGER FUN RUN as runners come together to promote strength, wellness and conversations around men's mental health.

Summary of Your Gautrain Journey
Park at your Gautrain station.
Show your race number to the promoter and receive your free Gautrain card.
Take the train to Sandton Station.
Walk to Mushroom Farm Park.
Take part in the STRONGER FUN RUN.
Use the same card for your journey home.
Your Gautrain Card Covers Your Parking
Your event Gautrain card includes the applicable parking benefit when you use the train.
Travel to Sandton Station
Parking is covered at R10 when you use the train to Sandton Station from another Gautrain station.
Parking at Sandton Station
The parking fee is R135 when parking at Sandton Station.
Your Gautrain card is required for your return journey and parking access. If you lose your card, Gautrain cannot replace or cover the lost card. You will need to pay for your return trip and any applicable parking charges from your own account.
